One of the most frequent questions Village Officials receive is, "Do I need a building permit for (project)?" That is a fantastic question, but one that needs to be asked of our Building Permit partners for The Village of Climax, SAFEBuilt's Athens Office.
There have been several recent changes to building codes and laws in recent years, incuding several common projects that did not previously reuire permit now requiring one. SAFEBuilt keeps up to date with all code and law changes all the time!
Remember, SAFEBuilt are our subject matter experts, and any and all information needed or permits required will go through them. To get in contact, please utilize any of the methods below:

This village permit update is useful, but when I’m deep in a horror game like this, I need reliable, level-by-level navigation—not just rules, but logic. The entity behavior patterns and code-based progression in escape the backrooms are what keep me coming back for more. Unlike vague forum tips, that site delivers clear maps, verified codes, and walkthroughs tested across all 30+ levels. It’s rare to find something so consistently updated and practical for actual gameplay. If you’re stuck on Level 7’s audio puzzle or trying to ID that flickering entity in Level 12, their guides cut through the noise. No fluff, no dead links—just straight-up survival tools. Definitely bookmarked for my next run. https://escapethebackrooms.org/
Meowdoku is one of those games where the tutorial sounds almost too simple, and then the real puzzles start cooking. One cat per colored zone, no same row, no same column, no touching. That’s it. But somehow that’s enough to keep me saying, “Okay, just one more.”
This permit reminder is useful, but let’s be honest: if the rules changed, residents need the plain version, not a scavenger hunt. A short “common projects that now need permits” list would save everyone time and probably cut down on calls to SAFEBuilt. Also, for anyone updating community profiles or making a quick local forum avatar, Mii Maker is a free browser-based Mii-style avatar maker—no console, download, or signup needed.
Helpful reminder, especially with code changes making permit rules less obvious for homeowners. I also found ScannedMaker useful for quickly turning paper permit notes, forms, or printed project details into clean digital scans.
Thanks for the helpful reminder. Permit rules can be easy to miss, especially with recent code changes, so it’s good to have SAFEBuilt listed as the right contact. I’ve also been using Kokoro TTS, a free in-browser text-to-speech tool, to read local notices aloud while I’m working around the house.
